WHY I'M RUNNING
The pandemic changed everything with our nation and the world. We saw heroic actions by our frontline workers and yet also we saw deep gaps and inefficiencies in our government.
I was born in Iran and left when I was 19 because I knew I would not have a future where I was born. Like many refugees, I came to the United States to seek a better life. It was a dream come true to call this wonderful nation of ours home.
I struggled to communicate and pay bills because I did not have any money and language skills, without any government assistance, I knew that I would need to learn the language, learn new skills and work hard to achieve the American dream and when times were tough, I got on my knees and prayed.
Over a decade ago I launched a new business, rolled up my sleeves, worked hard and saw exponential growth. Today I can proudly say that I am an example of the American dream where you can achieve anything if you work hard.
I know what it is like to be an immigrant, to start from the bottom. To build, to grow, to work and to contribute.
our country is headed in the wrong direction. as a small business owner I will bring a real world experience to Washington in order to put American jobs and businesses first. as a first generation legal immigrant, I am concerned about the lawlessness in our country that is created by illegal immigration. I want us to put American families first whenever we make any policy decisions.
I know there is a better way forward! I am running for congress to bring common sense, efficiency and transparency to the government. I can bring my years of experience as a business owner and as a first-generation immigrant to improve our immigration laws.
I will fight for a better California and the United States to be the world leader again. I will work hard for you and your family.
